Description

Fowlers had the pleasure of carrying out the City Point property development in Guildford, Surrey.

This development of 9 luxury flats includes state of the art building utility and heating management systems and a TrendVario vehicle stacker to maximise available parking.

The exterior elevation beautifully compliments the neighbourhood, and the pictures in this case study ably demonstrate what can be achieved in these properties, with stylish modern decorating to suit the characteristics of the properties.

Each flat features highly specified, modern open-plan kitchens so that hosts can entertain guests while preparing meals.

Key Challenges

  • Location: The site has very limited on-street parking. We phased the project to ensure there was always an unfurnished flat or space available for use as a site store. Deliveries from large vehicles were kept to a minimum, with many of these made to our headquarters in Cowfold where products were then transported to the site in our much smaller vans. The substantial basement was also used for parking and skips until the vehicle stacker could be installed.
  • Regular cost reports kept the client apprised of the financial position of the project, and extras were clearly costed and documented to ensure no overruns.
